'13 & Down Harley Davidson Road Glide CVO Speaker Mount Tech Note

When using an American Hard Bag Pro Audio speaker adapter kit with a CVO or Screamin' Eagle Road Glide the speaker grill/speaker bracket assembly must be replaced with a non CVO speaker grill/speaker bracket assembly. This is because the CVO version of this speaker bracket is made to mount a 5x7" speaker while the standard  Road Glide comes with a bracket made to mount a 5.25" speaker. The American Hard Bag Pro Audio speaker adapter is designed to bolt to a 5.25" bracket only. 

WHERE TO GET THE NEEDED GRILL/SPEAKER BRACKET ASSEMBLY

You can purchase this part at your local Harley dealership. But make sure that you don't tell them that you want this part for a CVO bike. They will tell you that they do not make this part for a 5.25" speaker for a CVO Road Glide. Instead simply give them the part numbers we list below. This will save you some potential headache.
