Installation into the IP-15-RG-OD Road Glide Grille
Follow the three steps below to mount the RZ75H securely, route the speaker leads for proper clearance, and keep the wiring safely away from the moving 6.5-inch mid-bass driver.
Position the RZ75H compression horn tweeter in the grille opening. The plastic mounting ring installs on the rear of the grille. Align the screw holes and tighten the supplied screws into the plastic ring so the tweeter is held firmly in place.
Gently bend the speaker wire terminals and leads to approximately a 90-degree angle as shown. This provides additional clearance between the rear of the RZ75H and the front of the 6.5-inch mid-bass driver mounted in the 2015-and-later Road Glide fairing pod.
Use the molded zip-tie tab on the plastic mounting ring to secure the tweeter wiring. Keep the wires snug against the grille assembly and safely out of the path of the moving 6.5-inch speaker.
