IP-24-CVO-TWM Overdrive Tweeter Bracket Install
Fits: 2024+ Harley-Davidson CVO Saddlebags (6x9 lids)
Preparation
Step 1 — Position Drill Template
Place the drill template inside the lid. It only fits one direction and works for both clutch and throttle sides.
Drilling the Lid
Step 2 — Drill Pilot Holes
Drill all three holes using a 1/8” drill bit.
Step 3 — Enlarge Holes
- Center hole → 3/8”
- Side holes → 3/16”
This allows proper wire pass-through.
Routing Wiring
Step 4 — Pass Tweeter Harness
Feed the tweeter wiring through the center hole from inside the lid outward.
Terminal Setup
Step 5 — Release Terminal Locks
Push down on the lock tab to release terminals when needed.
Step 6 — Position Terminals
Ensure terminals face outward, then bend inward slightly as shown.
Bracket Installation
Step 7 — Mount Tweeter Bracket
Secure the bracket using supplied hardware.
Final Checks
Step 8 — Check Clearance
Verify clearance between the 6x9 woofer and tweeter wiring.
Step 9 — Reassemble Lid
Reinstall speaker grill and lid latch assembly.
